Details of the Attack
The suspect, 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez from Chicago, was observed pacing back and forth outside the museum before opening fire on a group of people.
After the shooting, Rodriguez entered the museum and waited to be detained by authorities.
Upon arrest, he showed officers where to find the weapon and chanted “Free Free Palestine.”
