– The Ceasefire Deal: US President Donald Trump spoke with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, informing him that Israel had agreed to a ceasefire and requesting Qatar’s assistance in persuading Iran to follow suit.
– Qatari Mediation: Qatar’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, held talks with Iranian officials, securing Tehran’s agreement to the ceasefire proposal.
