PRESIDENT TINUBU EXPANDS NIGERIA’S DIPLOMATIC CORPS WITH 32 NEW AMBASSADORIAL NOMINEES

GREATRIBUNETVNEWS–President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated 32 additional ambassadors, comprising 15 career diplomats and 17 non-career individuals, to strengthen Nigeria’s global representation.
In two separate letters to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, President Tinubu asked the Senate to consider and confirm expeditiously 15 nominees as career ambassadors and 17 nominees as non-career ambassadors
Non-Career Ambassadorial Nominees:

– Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, former Governor of Enugu State
– Okezie Ikpeazu, former Governor of Abia State
– Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation
– Reno Omokri, former Presidential Aide
– Mahmud Yakubu, former Chairman of INEC
– Other Notable Nominees:
– Florence Ajimobi, former First Lady of Oyo State
– Lola Akande, former Lagos Commissioner
– Jimoh Ibrahim, Senator from Ondo State
– Paul Oga Adikwu, former Ambassador to the Holy See

– Femi Pedro, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State
