MRS TO SELL PETROL N839 PER LITRE AS DANGOTE HIKES PRICE
GREATRIBUNETVNEWS–Dangote Petroleum Refinery is keeping its promises, folks! The refinery has reaffirmed its commitment to market stability and uninterrupted nationwide supply of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
Here are the key highlights:
– Festive Price Support : The refinery implemented a temporary price support intervention to cushion Nigerians during the festive period, absorbing significant costs in the national interest.
– Daily Supply : The refinery supplies approximately 50 million litres of PMS daily, with nationwide evacuation and distribution operating normally.
– Gantry Price : The current PMS gantry price is N799 per litre, while MRS retail outlets sell at N839 per litre.
– Flexibility : The refinery’s design allows it to process a wide range of crude and intermediate feedstocks, ensuring continued PMS supply during planned maintenance activities.
According to David Bird, CEO of Dangote Petroleum Refinery, “The Refinery continues to supply the domestic market with approximately 50 million litres of PMS daily, with nationwide evacuation and distribution operating normally”
As a domestic producer, Dangote Petroleum Refinery continues to shield the Nigerian market from import related volatility and external supply disruptions, while remaining a stabilising force in the downstream petroleum sector.
