IRAN’S TOP SECURITY OFFICIAL SERVES WARNING TO TRUMP: “BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET ELIMINATED YOURSELF”

GREATRIBUNETBNEWS–IRAN’S Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, has issued a stern warning to US President Donald Trump, dismissing his threats against Iran .
Key Issues:
– _”The sacrificial nation of Iran doesn’t fear your empty threats. Even those bigger than you couldn’t eliminate Iran. Be careful not to get eliminated yourself.”_ – Ali Larijani
– Strait of Hormuz Tensions: Trump threatened to strike Iran “twenty times harder” if it disrupts oil flows through the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
– _”If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far.”_ – Donald Trump
– Escalating Conflict : The exchange marks the latest escalation in the war that erupted after the US and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iran on February 28.
– *Iran’s Defiant Stance*: Larijani’s warning reflects Iran’s determination to resist US pressure and protect its interests.
According to the Associated Press, Iran on Tuesday continued its military pressure by targeting Israel and several Gulf countries with missiles and drones.
Trump had earlier issued a stark warning to Tehran over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman through which roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply passes.
On Monday night, the U.S. president vowed that Washington would respond with overwhelming force if Iran attempts to block the waterway.
“We will take out easily destroyable targets that will make it virtually impossible for Iran to ever be built back as a nation again,” Trump threatened.
“Death, fire, and fury will reign upon them. But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen,” he added.
Trump also stressed the international significance of the Strait of Hormuz, noting that it is used heavily by major economies, including China and other countries dependent on oil shipments passing through the corridor.
“This is a gift from the United States of America to China, and all of those nations that heavily use the Hormuz,” he said. “Hopefully, it is a gesture that will be greatly appreciated.”
U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth also reinforced the president’s position during a press briefing at the Pentagon early Tuesday.
“He takes very seriously the condition of that Strait. We have capabilities that no nation on earth has, and we’re certainly working with our energy partners across the Administration,” Hegseth said.
The war, now in its 11th day, has already disrupted maritime activity around the Strait of Hormuz.
Shipping movements through the passage have slowed dramatically as Iran targets oil tankers, forcing many shipping companies to seek longer alternative routes.
The disruption has also triggered a sharp rise in shipping costs, while several insurance providers have reportedly withdrawn war-risk protections for oil companies and tanker operators amid growing uncertainty in the region.
