– Arrest Warrant Issued: EFCC obtained a warrant for Sylva’s arrest on November 6, 2025, from the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, authorized by Justice D.I. Dipeolu.
– Nationwide Search: EFCC has begun a nationwide search for Sylva, urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact its offices or nearest police station.
– Age and Background: Sylva, 61, hails from Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, served as petroleum minister from 2019 to 2023 under former President Muhammadu Buhari .
