GUMI ALERT: “US WANTS ME DEAD OVER BOKO HARAM LIE”
GREATRIBUNETVNEWS–Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a prominent Islamic scholar, claims he’s been falsely linked to Boko Haram and marked for elimination by the US via airstrike. “I received a call from a top official in Abuja informing me that I am among those marked by the US for elimination through an American airstrike, as part of Boko Haram,” Gumi said

– Denial of Affiliation: Gumi insists he’s not affiliated with Boko Haram, stating “I have consistently condemned Boko Haram and all forms of extremism”.

“Claims of this nature are extremely serious and require immediate clarification,” said a security expert who spoke on condition of anonymity. “If there is misinformation in circulation, it should be corrected swiftly to prevent panic and political manipulation.”
Gumi urged authorities to investigate the matter and clear his name, stressing that false labelling could undermine genuine efforts to combat terrorism.
