US/ISRAEL-IRAN WAR: TRUMP SLAMS UK PM ,STARMER: “HE HAS NOT BEEN HELPFUL”

Donald Trump has criticized UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for not supporting US-Israel strikes on Iran, saying the UK’s stance is disappointing.
Key Issues:
– _”He has not been helpful. I never thought I’d see that. I never thought I’d see that from the UK.”_ – Trump on Starmer’s decision
– UK’s Decision: Starmer initially refused US requests to use British bases for strikes, citing international law and lack of a clear plan.
– _”President Trump has expressed his disagreement with our decision not to get involved in the initial strikes, but it is my duty to judge what is in Britain’s national interest.”_ – Starmer’s response
– European Allies: Trump praised France and Germany for their support, contrasting with the UK’s stance.
– _”France has been great. They’ve all been great. The UK has been much different from others.”_ – Trump
The president suggested the prime minister was “pandering to Muslim voters” by not joining the strikes, offered more criticism of the government’s Chagos Islands deal, its stance on North Sea oil and the Labour mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
Addressing the Commons yesterday, Starmer said he “does not believe in regime change from the skies”.
In a statement on Tuesday, he added: “My duty to judge what is in Britain’s national interest. That is what I have done, and I stand by it.”
