APC’S DOMINANCE SIGNALS NEW ERA IN NIGERIA’S POLITICS BY TGF

GREATRIBUNETVNEWS–THE Transformative Governance Forum (TGF) congratulates the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on achieving a significant milestone with Governor Dauda Lawal’s defection, bringing the total number of APC governors to 33 .
Key Issues:
– _”This development is not merely a statistical achievement. It is a clear indicator of the direction of travel for serious-minded politics in Nigeria today.”_ – TGF Executive Council
– National Consensus: Governors, senators, and representatives are converging under the APC banner, signaling a broad consensus on governance direction.
– _”The decision of governors, senators, and representatives across various geopolitical zones to align under the Progressive banner sends a potent signal to both the domestic audience and the international community.”_ – TGF
– Progressive Governance: APC’s dominance reflects a shift towards transformative governance and economic reforms.
– _”There exists a broad consensus on the direction of governance under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”_ – TGF
ON THOSE WHO FAIL TO SEE THE PROGRESS
Regrettably, there exists a small coterie of perpetual naysayers. These are the professional pessimists and self-appointed gatekeepers of foreign opinion who derive strange satisfaction from running down their own country. They focus obsessively on challenges—which every nation faces—while blinding themselves to the realignment of forces necessary to address those challenges.
To these individuals, we say: your attempts to demarket our fatherland are as futile as they are pitiful. While you fret and fume in your little corners, the political architecture of the nation is being fortified. While you manufacture gloom, serious men and women are getting on with the business of building consensus for governance.
It must be quite inconvenient for you that the majority of elected representatives across the federation disagree with your cynical assessment. It must be quite troubling that those who actually hold the people’s mandate continue to flock to the Party that offers a coherent vision for welfare and progress, rather than the empty vessels of opposition.
THE BURDEN OF CONSENSUS
The TGF acknowledges that in mature climes, political consolidation is often met with sober reflection rather than hysteria. What we are witnessing is the gradual emergence of a national consensus around the progressive ideology that the APC represents. This is not about the exclusion of dissent; it is about the aggregation of purpose.
As His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, continues to steer the ship of state through both calm and choppy waters, it is only natural that men and women of goodwill—irrespective of their former affiliations—will seek to be part of the solution rather than remain irrelevant spectators.
We congratulate all our new members and urge them to bring their energy to bear in advancing the welfare of the Nigerian people.
As for the nattering nabobs of negativity, both at home and in the diaspora, who continue to weave tales of woe: we understand your frustration. It is difficult to sell a story of a nation in decline when its political class is uniting in unprecedented numbers behind a common purpose.
Once again, we celebrate this consolidation. The train of progress moves forward. The only choice before anyone is whether to climb aboard or be left behind at the station, nursing old grievances and outdated talking points.
