GREATRIBUNETVNEWS–Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria (MEMAN) has advised motorists to refrain from panic buying of petrol, citing sufficient stock levels. Clement Isong, CEO of MEMAN, issued the assurance in response to concerns about petroleum supply market scarcity.
“MEMAN wishes to reassure the public and stakeholders that our members have substantial stocks of petroleum products in our tanks and access to additional supplies from reputable sources, including Dangote Refinery and NNPC Trading Limited,” Isong stated.
He attributed the stability to supply diversification and deregulation, enabling marketers to plan and secure future supplies. “We do not anticipate any product outages in the immediate or near future,” he emphasized.
Isong urged the public to avoid panic buying, citing improving supply efficiency and logistics optimization. “Our members remain committed to optimizing costs and efficiency, ensuring the highest level of availability, accessibility, and affordability for our customers in this competitive environment.”
