The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a significant reduction in the price of its Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol. Effective immediately, the price of petrol has been reduced by 7.27% from N970 per litre in November to N899.50 per litre.
According to a statement by the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, the price reduction is designed to alleviate transport costs during the festive period. Chiejina expressed the company’s commitment to ensuring that Nigerians have access to quality petroleum products that are competitively priced and environmental and engine-friendly.
In addition to the holiday discount, Dangote Petroleum Refinery is also introducing a special offer to further benefit consumers. For every litre of petrol purchased on a cash basis, consumers will have the opportunity to buy another litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
Chiejina thanked Nigerians for their continued support and reiterated the refinery’s commitment to providing high-quality petroleum products at competitive prices. The reduced price of N899.50 per litre will be available at the refinery’s truck loading gantry or Single Point Mooring (SPM) facility.
