Ogundiran Jacob Oluwale has dismissed such claims, describing the information as false and misleading.”

_”In a statement issued on Sunday, the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Ogundiran Jacob Oluwale, said the abducted victims were still in captivity and urged residents to regard such cailms as unverified reports”
The council’s response comes against the backdrop of rising security concerns and unverified claims that the abducted residents had been freed.
“The kidnapped victims are yet to regain their freedom,” the chairman stated, adding that any information indicating otherwise should be ignored unless it originates from official and credible sources.
According to the statement, security agencies at both the state and local levels are intensifying efforts to secure the safe rescue of the victims.
The council chairman noted that relevant authorities have continued to deploy necessary resources and strategies aimed at ensuring a successful outcome, expressing optimism that ongoing operations would yield positive results.
